The Dargo High Plains Rally 2nd weekend in September

On the second weekend each September, the “High Plains Rally” will be held at Talbotville, approx. 32 km. from Dargo, in the North Eastern Highlands of Victoria. Talbotville was a thriving gold rush town in the 1860’s and is now unpopulated. The 17km road between Dargo and the Grant Road turn-off is bitumen. The 15km track between Grant Road turn-off and Talbotville is variable dirt.

·    Rally badges will be provided for prepaid entrants and a limited number will be available on the day.

·      Trophies:        

·Longest distance male.       
·Longest distance female.  
·Highest combined age, rider and machine.
·Youngest combined age, rider and machine.
·Hard-luck award.
(Entrants for trophies must nominate for them on arrival.)
·      Facilities:           
Fresh running water is at rally site. Limited firewood is provided.
Petrol, food and drinks are available at Dargo town centre.
There will only be steamed Dim Sims and Coke at the Rally site so make sure you get your last minute
whatevers at the Dargo General Store.
We request that all visitors to this area take out their own rubbish.
The toilets provided must be used.   Use only the firewood supplied.

Entries: $20 prepaids. $25 on the day.   Includes a badge and 10 tickets in the raffle.
